ARTIST

Art Foust

I was born with a pencil in one hand and a bad idea in the other. From the moment I could hold a crayon, I was scribbling skulls, monsters, and things that made the grown-ups exchange uneasy glances. Art wasn’t just a hobby—it was the only thing that made sense in a world that often didn’t.

For years, my canvas was skin. As a professional tattoo artist, I spent my days carving stories into flesh, giving people something permanent in a world that loves to erase. There’s a certain magic in that—watching someone walk away with a piece of my work etched into their body forever. But the tattoo industry is its own kind of beast, and eventually, I decided to take my art back to where it started—on paper, on screens, on anything I could.

MY INSPIRITION.

Now, I live the unpredictable life of a freelance artist (though I do maintain a day job). I create on my terms, balancing between the dark and the absurd, the creepy and the playful. If it’s a little inappropriate? Even better. Art should make you feel something, and if that feeling is a mix of fascination and mild discomfort, I’ve done my job.

JUST WHO I AM.

I thrive in the shadows because I have never really fit in anywhere, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have a sense of humor. The world is weird, people are weirder, and I fully embrace the chaos. Whether I’m designing a piece that makes you laugh or one that makes you question your (or my) sanity, I put a piece of myself into everything I create.

This is my art. This is my life. It’s a little dark, a little twisted, but hey—so am I.

( And writing about yourself is just fucking weird! )

DESIGN

Designing Chaos: The Art of Custom Work

Art is personal. It’s a reflection of the artist, sure, but when it comes to custom work, it’s also a reflection of the client—their story, their vision, their twisted little ideas that I get the honor of bringing to life. Whether it’s a tattoo design, an illustration, or something a little off-the-wall, my job is to take what’s in your head and twist it into something even better.

That being said, let’s get one thing straight: I love the dark, the weird, and the wildly inappropriate. If it’s something that would make your grandma clutch her pearls, we’re probably on the same wavelength. But no matter the project, my goal is to create something uniquely you—even if that means reining in my usual brand of madness (or cranking it up to eleven).

I still design tattoos, because let’s be real—once ink is in your blood, you never really leave it behind. I love comics too, and when I get the time, I like to dabble in writing—sometimes stories, sometimes poetry, always something raw. It’s all art to me. Whether I’m drawing a twisted little creature, writing a few dark verses, or sketching out a design that’ll live on someone’s skin forever, it all comes from the same place: an undeniable need to create.

So if you want something custom—something built just for you—I’m in. Just know that I don’t do boring. If you’re looking for something with a little bite, something with soul, or something that’ll make people do a double take, you’ve come to the right place.

Let’s make something interesting.
